The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, partnering closely with operational and corporate teams to build high performing, engaged, and inclusive teams. This role balances strategic business partnership with hands-on employee relations support, ensuring leaders have the guidance and tools needed to effectively manage performance, develop talent, navigate complex employee matters, and foster a positive workplace culture.
Working in a fast-paced airline environment, the HRBP provides proactive coaching and consultative support while ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with operational and business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.
- Coach leaders on building engaged, high-performing, and accountable teams.
- Utilize workforce metrics and people analytics to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, integrations, and business transformations.
- Help leaders drive employee engagement and create a positive, inclusive culture.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant Employee Relations experience.
- Preferred: experience supporting airline, aviation, transportation, logistics, hospitality, manufacturing, or other 24/7 operational environments.
- Experience partnering directly with business leaders in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders without direct authority.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
