MCC Engineer / Maintenance Controller

Overview We are working with a leading aviation organisation seeking an experienced
MCC Engineer / Maintenance Controller to join their operational team. The ideal candidate will bring strong real-time maintenance coordination experience, with exposure to business jet operations highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the central point of control within the Maintenance Control Centre (MCC)
- Monitor aircraft technical status and coordinate maintenance activities in real time
- Manage AOG situations and ensure minimal operational disruption
- Liaise with CAMO, line maintenance, flight operations, and third-party MRO providers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (EASA or equivalent)
- Support troubleshooting and technical decision-making for active fleet operations
- Maintain accurate technical records, reports, and communication logs
Requirements Essential
- At least 1 year of experience working within an MCC / Maintenance Control / Technical Control environment
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance operations and planning
- Ability to manage time-critical operational decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments
