Ground Operations Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Operations Control Centre, supporting worldwide private jet operations and ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.
The Role Reporting to the Ground Operations Manager, you will play a central role in coordinating day-to-day flight operations, liaising with multiple departments, and ensuring all flights are executed safely and efficiently. This position offers broad exposure across flight dispatch, operational control, crew logistics, and customer support within a dynamic business aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support worldwide flight operations.
- Manage operational administration, reporting, and internal systems updates.
- Arrange overflight and landing permits, fuel, handling, and supplementary services.
- Conduct flight planning, crew briefings, weather and NOTAM analysis, and operational monitoring.
- Coordinate aircraft and crew availability to maintain efficient scheduling.
- Organise crew travel, accommodation, and logistics.
- Arrange ground transportation, catering, handling, and passenger support services.
- Carry out airport and route feasibility assessments for flight operations and commercial teams.
- Monitor flight time limitations and regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with maintenance teams regarding aircraft serviceability.
- Provide flight following services and operational support to crews during flight.
- Manage operational disruptions, delays, and emergency response activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Operations Controller, Flight Dispatcher, or similar aviation operations role.
- Previous business aviation experience highly desirable.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Experience using aviation flight planning and operational software.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Dispatch licence or relevant operational certification preferred.
