HR Generalist – Zurich, Switzerland
Location: Opfikon, ZurichEmployment Type: Permanent | Full-time 100% (preferred) or 80% (considered)
We are supporting a well-established aviation organisation in the recruitment of an experienced HR Generalist to join its growing team at its new headquarters close to Zurich Airport.
This is an office-based role, offering the opportunity to become a key member of the HR function, supporting employees across a broad range of operational and administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage payroll preparation and salary administration.
Process employee timesheets and support crew roster administration.
Prepare employment contracts and HR documentation.
Coordinate relocation travel arrangements for flight crew.
Handle Crew ID applications for Zurich and other Swiss airports.
Ensure HR processes comply with Swiss employment legislation and company policies.
Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and management.
Requirements
Proven experience in a Swiss HR role.
Strong knowledge of Swiss labour law and HR regulations.
Previous experience with payroll, contracts and HR administration.
Fluent in English and strong German knowledge
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Working Pattern
Full-time (100%) preferred; 80% may be considered for the right candidate.
Four days per week based in the Zurich office.
Option to work from home one day per week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday).
