Position Summary
This position is responsible for driving revenue growth through corporate and B2B channels by developing new sales opportunities, managing key accounts and building strategic partnerships. The role will focus on identifying customer needs, promoting relevant Travel Services products and developing suitable commercial solutions to support business growth. This includes creating sales plans, preparing proposals, negotiating deals, managing sales pipelines and working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery. The position requires a commercially driven individual with strong sales experience, good relationship management skills and the ability to identify opportunities that can expand the reach and revenue contribution for Travel Services.
Key Accountabilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and grow sales opportunities from corporate and B2B channels.
- Identify new accounts, partners and business opportunities that can contribute to Travel Services revenue.
- Promote relevant Travel Services products and offerings based on customer needs and business potential.
- Identify opportunities to bundle products and services to create more attractive solutions for customers.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline from lead generation to conversion.
- Support revenue growth through new accounts, repeat business and tactical sales initiatives.
Account Management & Partnerships
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to maximise revenue and identify upselling opportunities.
- Maintain regular engagement with key corporate accounts and B2B partners to build long-term business potential.
- Establish and cultivate strategic partnerships with external organisations to expand Travel Services’ reach and sales channels.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable Travel Services offerings.
- Gather feedback from customers and partners to improve product positioning, pricing, sales approach and overall value proposition.
Sales Proposals, Negotiation & Conversion
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients and partners.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of Travel Services products and bundled offerings.
- Follow up on leads, proposals and business opportunities to ensure timely conversion.
- Lead negotiation processes and close sales deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Support the development of sales propositions, packages or campaign offers for targeted segments.
Sales Targets, Pipeline & Reporting
- Set and monitor sales targets, pipeline movement and conversion performance.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular updates on sales opportunities
- Track and analyse sales performance metrics and KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Maintain updated records of leads, prospects, proposals, closed deals and revenue performance
- Utilise CRM or sales tracking systems to manage pipelines, customer interactions and sales activities
- Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates and business review inputs for management
Marketing & Campaign Support
- Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure sales efforts are supported by relevant marketing initiatives
- Provide input and customer insights to support campaign development, marketing materials and sales collateral
- Participate in joint sales and marketing campaigns targeted at corporate and B2B channels
