Position Summary
Based in Madrid, Spain, the Full-Stack Software Engineer will join our growing IFX team, the group behind Jet Aviation's own In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system. This is a full-time, immediate-start role built around one core requirement: a genuine commitment to software craftsmanship, with practical knowledge of Clean Architecture, CQRS, and Event Sourcing.
You'll design and build clean, testable, maintainable systems across the full stack, working closely with the engineering team in Basel. Experience with IoT, home automation, or event-driven systems is a strong plus given the connected nature of our IFE platform.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Design and implement scalable, object-oriented backend services (C#, Java, Python, or similar).
- Apply Clean Architecture, CQRS, and Event Sourcing principles to build modular, maintainable systems.
- Practice Test-Driven Development (TDD) and contribute to automated testing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the Basel-based IFX team and UX/UI designers to deliver performant, accessible applications.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Integrate software with IoT devices, real-time data streams, and external systems where relevant.
- Maintain technical documentation and uphold coding standards.
Who you are
- Full-stack developer with a genuine interest in software best practices and craftsmanship.
- Foundational knowledge of TDD, with hands-on practice a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of Clean Architecture.
- Practical knowledge of CQRS.
- Practical knowledge of Event Sourcing.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills, proficient in at least one OOP language (C#, Java, Python, or similar).
- Proficiency with a modern front-end framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular).

- Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (B2 level or higher).

- Experience with Redux or equivalent state management libraries.
