Basic Qualifications
The candidate must be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook e-mail. The ideal candidate should have and be able to articulate examples/demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize work assignments; should be pro-active, self-motivated and able to work independently; should have good attendance and work habits; should have the ability to maintain Vice President and Director's confidential/private records and information; should be able to handle more than one task at a time with accuracy; should have good communication skills, work well with all personality types, remain calm in stressful situations and possess a helpful and inviting demeanor.
Job Description
The selected candidate will report to and primarily support the Business Area Chief Financial Officer, in addition to supporting other Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) leadership. This job includes all aspects of running the CFO's office, coordinating with the other Vice Presidents' offices, and assisting the Directors in supporting and managing their activities. The selected candidate must be able to maintain the strictest standards of confidentiality regarding any discussions, meetings, or activities. The Administrative Assistant will in many cases be the “first face” of the F&BO executive staff and as such must possess a professional, welcoming and helpful personality. Specific responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:
- Directly contribute to and enable a healthy and highly motivated F&BO team
- Screen all incoming calls and visitors
- Set up meetings in Outlook and maintain calendars, deconflicting and prioritizing as needed
- Arrange travel, prepare travel requests, prepare timely expense reports and prepare itinerary summaries to travelers
- Process visitor requests for program guests or traveling employees
- Expeditiously resolve IT and conference room issues
- Maintain outlook distribution lists for F&BO organization
- Maintain organizational charts
- Organize meetings for both regularly scheduled business meetings and large staff meetings including VTCs
- Organize and order lunch through the cafeteria’s catering service for business meetings
- Maintain/stock executive refreshment area
- Pro-actively ensure the printers/scanners on the floor are operational including adequate paper supply, toner and handling RMS maintenance requests when needed
- Manage conference room scheduling
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Schedule emptying of proprietary bins
- Handle other RMS requests as needed
- Handle maintenance and facility requests for floor
Desired Skills
Proficient in SAP, Concur Travel, and other standard Lockheed Martin programs such as RMS (Resource Management System), Service Central, and Cafeteria requests.

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
