Scope/Dimensions: Manage capital growth, maintenance or pipeline projects ranging from $500K to $200MM. Apply standard project management techniques, leveraging both internal and industry design and construction codes and standards. Facility and pipeline projects within the Liquid Pipelines Business Unit Facility projects include work inside of facilities (e.g. booster pumps, cooling facilities, piping, pump stations, manifolds, mechanical equipment, valves, pig traps, storage tanks, terminals, blending, etc) Oversees the development and/or implementation of technical solutions, ensuring efficient coordination of technical resources and with other internal and external stakeholders Provides informal leadership to peers Must Haves: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, Project Management, or related field) 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in engineering and project management Experience managing capital growth, maintenance or pipeline projects ranging from $500K to $200MM. Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate and manage change. Capable of working independently, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks accordingly Ability to resolve complex issues based on depth and breadth of technical and business knowledge Awareness of interrelationships with other stakeholders both internal and external to the project team Effectively communicate technical and project issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical staff Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record. Responsibilities: Lead overall project management, development, engineering, and scoping activities across the full project lifecycle. Own project scope, schedule, cost estimate, execution plan, contracting strategy, procurement, risks, and supporting documentation. Manage, review, and approve third-party engineering deliverables, including drawings, technical reports, and material requisitions, against budget and schedule. Review vendor quotations, evaluate technical bids, recommend selections, and support material procurement with Supply Chain. Ensure projects are fit for purpose and comply with regulatory, environmental, health and safety, industry code, and corporate standard requirements. Coordinate and support design reviews, constructability reviews, PHA reviews, and related project assurance activities. Lead or support business initiatives, including cost-saving opportunities aligned with project business justification. Provide technical guidance and drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, standard updates, engineering plans, and contractor evaluations.
