Aircraft Structural Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Structural Engineer to supervise structural maintenance activities in aircraft and workshop environments, ensuring all repairs, modifications, and inspections comply with approved maintenance documentation, DGCA regulations, and company quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise structural repairs, modifications, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with approved maintenance manuals and DGCA regulations.
- Plan manpower and resources to meet operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate technicians and support staff.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth maintenance operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree/Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent, AME Licence, or relevant CAR 66 Modules.
- Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience in an Airline/MRO.
- Minimum 2 years as Structure Certifying/Support Staff.
- Experience with DGCA Form 1 certification in Structure/Cabin Shops.
- Hands-on experience in sheet metal and composite repairs.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of CNC machining, AutoCAD/SolidWorks/CATIA V5.
- Familiarity with electroplating processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
