The Aircraft Handler/Facilities MX Technician position is available in Bay City, WI. The successful candidate must be able to repair and maintain grounds equipment (electrical, plumbing, mechanical) or coordinate repair process.

Your Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain records for preventive and corrective maintenance on major equipment.
- Build and install accessories to support the repair station facility needs.
- Communicate with the Building Maintenance Manager to establish priorities based on daily expectations.
- Knowledge of utilities and repairs are strongly preferred.
- Additionally, candidates will also be responsible for occasional aircraft handling or fueling of aircraft.
- Stock company aircraft with goods prior to departure.
- Perform interior and exterior cleaning to aircraft on an as need basis.
- Fueling and towing of aircraft when requested.
- Polish the brightwork areas on aircraft when needed.
- Operation and upkeep of maintenance on company vehicles and aircraft tug equipment.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Skill in communications, pleasant and polite to all co-workers and supervision.
- Ability to use shop equipment (brake, drill press, etc).
- Caring attitude, pride in your work and the plant.
- Self-motivated and hard-working.
- Has a basic understanding of facility utilities and maintenance.
- Be able to read mechanical tools as: caliper, gauges, etc.
- Maintain company ground equipment.
- Occasional facility cleaning and custodial duties.
- Snow removal and outside upkeep required for inclement weather.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a facility maintenance position preferred.
- Must have knowledge in the use of basic hand and power tools
- Basic commercial experience/training is a plus.
