Do you want to come on board? As an Intercruises Trainee, you will be part of a young and motivated multinational team and involved directly in our day-to-day business and current projects.
You will gain valuable knowledge and exciting experiences across our various operations at ports around the Netherlands. This will be a “hands on” assignment giving you the opportunity to actively contribute to the success of our business.

About The Job
- Operational assistance at Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Ijmuiden Ports; meet and greet passengers, liaise with provider staff at the port and ensure the smooth running of the operation;
- Preparation of all documents and material required for operations within Shore Excursions and Turnaround departments (e. g. information for coach suppliers);
- Working within a close team environment based in our office in Amsterdam;
- Support the blocking of reservations.
- Preparation of supplier invoices for payment;
- Preparation of manifests, bookings and other relevant documents for cruise operations;
- Support the operational teams by providing support with ad hoc duties during pre- and post-operations.
About You
- Currently enrolled in a course in Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality or related;
- You are willing to dedicate at least 3 months of your internship;
- High level of English. Every other language is definitely a plus – especially Italian and German;
- You enjoy working in a multinational environment and being part of a team;
- You are flexible and do not mind working long days, early starts or weekends;
- Motivation to learn and develop your career in the travel industry with geographical mobility;
- Organized and with a high sense of responsibility;
- Customer service attitude and passion for service excellence;
- Microsoft office user;
- The position will be subject to the right to work in the Netherlands.
