Manager, Implementation Distribution
Purpose of the role
Our team is part of the Enterprise Program Services division, we are looking for a Manager to lead the ACRS Distribution Implementation Team.
The team is responsible to onboard our hospitality customers on the Amadeus Hospitality platform for all distribution aspects: OTA, GDS and PMS. Our customers are hotel chains ranging from dozens of hotels to thousands of hotel. The team is responsible of the onboarding process from kick-off until successful hypercare post go-live.
As Part Of This Role You Will
- Manage a team of 8+ implementation engineers working on customer programs.
- Structure and organize the team to better support our customer needs.
- Work closely with HOS Operations, R&D, Solution management and Product teams to define, maintain and evolve the distribution implementation services to make it scalable and repeatable cross programs.
Accountabilities
- Accountable for the budget, performance and results of a medium-sized team. Influences the resource, budget and policy planning and sets concrete development plans for the team members.
- Has a mid/long-term vision of the activity and the business, influences the department's strategy based on a broad understanding of the environment. Exposed to complex decision making.
- Works with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions, escalating issues only when necessary.
- Act as an escalation point for the customer and internal stakeholders
- Analyze customer systems and service requirements.
- Identify specific actions necessary to implement Amadeus products/services.
- Establish and manage the Distribution implementation roadmap.
- Determine and document adaptations to Distribution implementation roadmap.
- Guarantee that Distribution implementation roadmap meets specified requirements.
- Provide functional support and problem resolution to the team and the customer functional staff.
About The Ideal Candidate
- 8-10 years of related Implementation Management and team manaagement
- Knowledge of the Hospitality Distribution area (OTAs, GDSs, PMSs)
- Agile and/or SaFe experience is a plus
- Functional experience on large or complex projects, preferably in the hotels domain
- Previous experience in an Implementation, Functional Analysis, Product Analysis, Product Definition,
- Experience in cross-functional processes in defect management and Development Cycle
- Good understanding/experience of large system integration projects and challenges
- Extensive knowledge of Travel technology and industry practices, particularly Hotel-related
- Technical Skills: advanced PC skills, ability to adapt to a wide variety of internal tools & technical environments
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to understand and analyze complex business processes
- Ability to understand and analyze complex functional/system problems and propose solutions or workarounds
- High attention to detail
- Fluent documentation and reporting skills β both written and verbal
- Ability to work cooperatively with others to achieve team goals.
