We are now looking for a Marketing Automation Manager, Fixed-term contract to join Finnair’s marketing & digital sales team. This is a fixed-term contract and a parental leave substitute. In this role you’ll act as business/product owner with technical knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem, Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, in the Finnair group, creating development roadmap and leading a team of developers and specialist to make sure of quality and timing deliveries. Your tasks involve optimizing and leveraging marketing automation tools and processes in global marketing strategy execution. You will work together with colleagues from various backgrounds, in both IT and business to enable personalization and automation of direct channels such as email and mobile app across the whole funnel from customer awareness, acquisition and conversion to repeat purchase activation to achieve an optimal overall customer journey. Your main responsibilities are: Contribute into digital sales and marketing strategies by enabling campaign automation and improving direct channels’ processes using existing technologies’ capabilities. Create roadmap including initiatives and developments of automated journey, email template, new channels, features, and data integration and ensure of timing deliveries end to end, from requirement to QA to results Own and manage customer data in Marketing Cloud in term of data governance and availability and support in first party data strategy by growing direct customer base Bring insights, best practices and industry’s regulation in marketing automation and direct channels to ensure compliance Systematic follow-up and reporting of direct marketing Support in managing Finnair brand and communication visibility in own and paid medial channels Collaborate with Content, Design, IT and Data team to align marketing automation efforts with broader business objectives and initiatives Our expectations: Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar Marketing automation platform Knowledgeable of other Salesforce platforms is preferable Understands programing languages such as SQL, HTML and CSS Experienced with data architecture, integration, and project management Experienced in data analysis and insights Hands-on person, with previous experience in delivering digital sales through direct marketing Experienced in customer acquisition and retention strategies and tactics Passionate about digital sales and marketing development and constantly looking for ways to improve our daily operations Hungry for sales and to get visible results Knowledgeable of effective and cost-efficient integrated marketing in various channels; own, bought and earned Thrives in fast-paced working environment and meeting set targets Proficiency in English Great team player with good communication skills In addition, this role requires: Relevant Bachelor ’s or Master ’s degree Minimum 3-5 years working experience from the field of marketing automation, direct/ email marketing, digital sales, digital marketing, or relevant business areas Outstanding networking skills to work across teams and departments The role is based in Vantaa, Finland. We would preferably have you joining our team from August onwards until end of 2025.
