Position Summary
In this role you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience from a central and global finance department point of view. As a Trainee within the Group Reporting and Accounting department you will be collaborating closely with all Finance departments worldwide to ensure accurate and consistent information. You will be able to perform a wide range of tasks which will allow you to understand how the budgeting, reporting and forecasting processes are organized. Furthermore, given the near-term plans to implement a Forecasting and Budgeting tool you will be able to contribute to the selection/implementation process.
Main Responsibilities
• Support Functions (IT and/or MKT) accruals follow-up
• IT projects controlling
• Support Functions data collection/consolidation
• Forecast: input Opportunities and Risks in the system, consolidate overall Jet forecast, refresh templates
• Quarterly Business Reviews’ support:
• Preparation of excel template linked to slide deck
• Consolidation of metrics, headcounts
• Support on reports and slides
• Budget support:
• consolidate the long-term forecast
• Capex tracking
• Consolidate inputs from regions and prepare slides
• Budget packs load to consolidation system
• Year-end involvement:
• Consolidate sales by country
• Consolidate report on reserves
• Reconfiguration and yearly set-up of master reporting files
• Support on creating business analysis for ad-hoc requests from the CFO and/or Senior management
• Contribute to setup the requirements for the new Budgeting and Forecasting tool selection / implementation
• Participate in the continuous alignment process of the global metric’s definitions
Minimum Requirements
• Matriculated Student in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or Management (FH/Uni), or similar commercial education
• Very good Excel Knowledge
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to focus on details without forgetting the “big picture”
• Special interest in learning how to use new IT tools
• Modelling capabilities
• Fluent English skills, German and/or French language skills
• Proactive approach in troubleshooting
• Open minded and curious
