Role Introduction
Reports to: Finance Business Partner
As a Accounting Supervisor, you are responsible for the business partnering team assisting the Business Partner Manager in liaising with the business unit on all finance related matters and providing financial analysis and support in digitalization of reports.
Key Responsibilities
Digitalisation, Automation & Reporting Excellence
- Drive the digitalisation and automation of financial reports and processes to reduce manual effort, minimise repetitive copy-and-paste activities, and improve data accuracy
- Support build-up of new reports in SAC; develop and enhance Excel-based tools, dashboards, and automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency
- Identify opportunities to streamline existing workflows through the effective use of technology, data analytics, and automation tools
Day to Day Financial related matters, including
- Assist in preparing monthly management reports, business reviews, and presentation materials for stakeholders
- Support business units and finance managers in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Monitor key financial and operational metrics, highlighting risks, opportunities, and trends; Ad hoc assignments as and when required
Budget/Forecasts
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts by collecting and consolidating inputs from business units
- Assist in maintaining budget and forecast templates and ensure data is submitted accurately and on time
- Prepare supporting schedules, reports, and working files for budget and forecast
- Assist in uploading budget and forecast data into finance systems and perform reconciliation checks
Requirements
- HKCEE standard with a pass in English (Syll B) or grade 2 in English
- Minimum 3 years accounting experience with diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- Strong skills in MS Office applications, especially in Excel. Proficiency in excel tool (such as Power Query) is a strong advantage
- Well organized with strong analytical mind and experience in developing and maintaining automated reports, dashboards, and reporting solutions preferred
- Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Able to work under pressure and being flexible when necessary to meet deadlines
- Willing to challenge the status quo and improve work processes
