Functional Activities
- Manage and administer audit schedules, audit records, findings, and closure activities through AMOS and other approved digital systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure audits align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement risk-based audit plans covering CAMO, AMO, line maintenance, base maintenance, suppliers, contracted organizations, and support functions
- Develop risk-based audit programs to address identified areas of concern.
- Conduct audits of operational processes and the digital solutions to evaluate compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Ensure that operational activities and the digital solutions adhere to aviation regulations, safety standards, and other relevant requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and communicate their implications to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed and accurate audit documentation in AMOS.
- Configure and maintain AMOS to prepare comprehensive audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
- Monitor compliance with approved manuals, including CAME, MOE, CMEM, Engineering Procedures Manuals, and associated regulatory documents.
- Review regulatory amendments, assess applicability, and support implementation of revised regulatory requirements across Engineering functions.
- Maintain accurate audit, investigation, and compliance records in approved systems
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal quality management systems.
- Monitor adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a coordinated and cooperative approach to audit activities.
- Support regulatory, and internal audits and coordinate responses to findings raised by DGCA, EASA, IOSA, and other stakeholders
- Provide training to staff on audit processes, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Monitor Engineering Safety Management System (SMS) activities, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety reporting.
- Participate in development, review, and revision of Engineering Manuals, departmental procedures, and compliance documentation.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
