This opportunity is specific to Parker's Electronic Controls & Motion Division (ECM), an exciting and fast-paced environment providing technologies that create and control motion to customers across a wide range of applications and industries. Position Summary
The Project Manager will help define, plan, initiate, execute, control and close projects. Responsibilities will include directing and maximizing the efforts of cross-disciplinary project teams to produce specific products or results within the technical, cost, schedule and quality specifications. Projects may include NPD (New Product Development) and PSI (Product Sustainability and Improvement) projects and initiatives.

PMP designation or a relevant combination of technical training and project management experience/training
A minimum of five years’ experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Degree in engineering in related discipline is an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and excellent listening skills
Excellent interpersonal skills; proven ability to perform effectively with people at all levels of a cross-functional development team
Well-developed conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Proficiency in the use of personal computers and automated tools, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project
Experience using SAP, especially the PS module would be an asset
