Responsible for managing and coordinating import and export operations, including customs clearance, shipping documentation, permits, licenses and related procedures.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, transporters and relevant authorities to ensure shipments are processed and delivered in accordance with customer requirements and agreed schedules.
Responsible for coordinating applications for import duty, sales tax and other applicable exemptions, including liaison with MIDA, Royal Malaysian Customs and other relevant authorities.
Plan, arrange and monitor domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time departure, arrival and delivery of materials and finished products.
Work closely with the Sales, Customer Service and Planning teams to priorities and arrange shipments according to customer requirements.
Monitor shipment status and proactively identify potential delays, customs issues or other logistics risks; coordinate corrective actions to minimize business and customer impact.
Manage and monitor logistics service providers' performance, including Quality, Delivery, Cost and Service, and follow up on corrective actions where required.
Review freight and transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization, improved efficiency and service improvement.
Supervise and coordinate warehouse administration and logistics activities, including receipt, inspection, storage, picking and issuance of finished products for domestic and export shipments.
Ensure accurate and timely system transactions and documentation relating to inventory movement, shipment and warehouse activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, procedures and relevant Malaysian customs, trade, environmental, safety and regulatory requirements.
Maintain proper records and documentation for import/export transactions, customs declarations, permits, exemptions and logistics activities to support internal and external audits.
Support the development, review and implementation of logistics procedures and work instructions to ensure standardization and operational effectiveness.
Analyze logistics performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, process optimization and cost reduction.
Support and participate in supply chain and logistics improvement projects, including digitalization and process automation initiatives.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistics-related issues and ensure effective customer service.
Support the Supply Chain Manager in logistics planning, performance review, reporting and other supply chain initiatives as required.
Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with applicable ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements, where applicable.

Process Goods Receipt (GR) entries for service or non-product items
Verify GR for service items against PO and supplier documentation and escalate discrepancies.
Prepare cycle count schedules and count sheets in coordination with Warehouse/Operations.
Participate in cycle counts, perform sample counts as instructed, and record results.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager or management.
Minimum Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation, International Trade or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in logistics, supply chain, import/export, customs or warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of local and overseas customs procedures, import/export documentation and international shipping practices.
Experience in dealing with freight forwarders, customs agents, transport providers and other logistics service providers.
Good understanding of Malaysian customs requirements and relevant government agencies, including Royal Malaysian Customs and MIDA.
Experience in managing or coordinating warehouse operations and finished goods distribution.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements is an advantage.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/SAP or other supply chain systems is preferred.
Strong analytical, planning, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at different levels and across functions.
Good command of English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.(Frequent communications are required with China colleague).
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
