- KeyAccountabilities
1. Vendor Governance, Bill Verification and Cost Control
• Act as Cabin Crew Division's representative and primary stakeholder for hotel and transport vendors — while selection, contracting and billing for these services sit with Air India's corporate Admin Services department, hold practical control over cost and service outcomes as the end user.
• Verify and clear all Cabin Crew Division service bills — including crew lounge, transport and hotel — against contracted rates and delivered service before payment.
• Conduct cost-saving deep dives into transport and hotel operations, identifying and implementing measures to optimize divisional spending.
• Conduct periodic audits of transport and hotel services against contracted standards.
2. SLA Governance, MIS Reporting and Crew Concern Resolution
• Monitor and govern hotel (HOTAC) SLA performance across all bases against contracted service standards.
• Monitor and govern transport SLA performance across all bases against contracted service standards.
• Prepare and present MIS on hotel and transport SLA performance, identifying where service is meeting standard and where it is not, and escalating persistent underperformance.
• Use SLA and MIS findings to inform hotel selection and vendor continuation decisions, presenting recommendations to the Manager – CC Admin and Support Services.
• Resolve crew concerns and escalations arising from transport, HOTAC and other divisional services, coordinating across departments as required.
3. Emergency Response Logistics
• Arrange crew transport, accommodation and travel logistics required during emergency response activation, mobilizing within the timeframe defined in the emergency response plan.
• Maintain standing vendor arrangements and contact protocols so that emergency logistics can be mobilized outside normal working hours.
4. Divisional Administration, Stationery and Special Events
- Manage stationery and stores distribution and logistics across bases — including Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, ensuring availability without stock-outs or excess holding.
- Coordinate CCD ground staff logistics and visa requirements end to end, liaising with appointed travel agents to ensure visas are obtained ahead of roster requirement dates.
• Provide logistics support for special events and R&R events for cabin crew, including venue, travel and accommodation arrangements, and general event administrative support.
• Liaise with other departments on facility and maintenance requirements at cabin crew locations across bases, tracking requests through to closure.
• Handle routine divisional administrative and logistics requirements for the Cabin Crew Division.
Flexibility Clause: Any other additional responsibility may be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer, and HR.
