We have an exciting new
remote opportunity with our Digital Technology (DT) Digital Manufacturing Applications team for a
Senior Full Stack Microsoft Developer & Architect.
What You Will Do:
As a Full stack Engineer, you will directly contribute to Pratt & Whitney’s Digital transformation. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions using Microsoft technologies, while also providing technical leadership and mentorship to the development team. Your focus will be on delivering outcome-based solutions that drive business success and exceed our clients' expectations.
You will be working with a multi-disciplinary team to solve highly complex business problems. The opportunity to develop and deploy scalable cloud native applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement full-stack software solutions using Microsoft technologies such as .NET, SharePoint, C#, ASP.NET, React, TypeScript, T-SQL, Web API, Azure, SQL Server, and other related tools.
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable applications that follow best practices and design principles.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to gather and refine project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure that team members adhere to established coding standards and practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and techniques to improve software development processes and product quality.
- Develop modern data reporting/visualization solutions which can provide insights into the data and empower business with data driven decision making.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user guides.
- Assist with the estimation and planning of software development tasks and projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies to stay current with best practices.
- Collaborate in a Lean and Agile team structure to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies using Jira and GitHub.
- Build, test and validate application features and work with agile team to adapt and deliver application features.
- Work with API frameworks to deploy reusable functions.
- Enable security and audit requirements for the application using cloud native logging and authentication functions.
- Collaborate with data engineering team to deploy and use data products as application data integration approach.
- An intense rigorous focus on quality of application being deployed is a must.
Critical thinking with the ability to solve problems independently is a must.
- Travel for onsite quarterly team meetings.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, with 10+ years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; OR in lieu of a degree, 14+ years of prior relevant work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in developing applications on .NET, Office 365: SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, IIS.
- 8+ years of experience with Microsoft suite of Business Intelligence tools PowerBI, Power automate, SSAS, SSIS.
- 8+ yrs. of Full Stack development exposure and Web Development experience of a minimum 8 years using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VueJS, React, Angular, JQuery.
- Familiarity with Databases SQL Server , Azure SQL and Azure Synapse, Oracle, RDS.
- Hands on experience of working in n-tier and layered application architecture.
- Hands on experience of building data visualization dashboards in PowerBi/QLIK.
- 2+yrs. exposure to Cloud services and architecture: Azure and/or AWS.
- Working knowledge of how to utilize Azure Application services.
- Experience with Languages JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Exposure to change management, production maintenance, metrics tracking, and triage process preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in Office 365: SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, IIS.
- Exposure to React and Django.
- Demonstrated skills in API development/deployment.
- Experience in validation/testing and quality efforts around digital products
Strong ability to communicate business requirements and technical plans to technical & non-technical team members and stakeholders at all levels of organization.
- Experience managing projects with cross functional disciplines with internal & external members.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Github, and software documentation.
- Practiced Waterfall/Agile software delivery practices and expectations.
- Proactive, self-starter with excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
