IT Networks Operations Engineer, you'll play a key role in keeping our network infrastructure secure, stable and available, supporting the systems that power one of the UK's leading leisure travel businesses.
Reporting to the IT Networks Manager, you'll join our IT Networks Infrastructure team and take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our network and network security estate. This is a hands-on, operational role focused on maintaining and improving our BAU network environment rather than project delivery or solution design.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Administering enterprise firewalls and micro-segmentation platforms, carrying out firewall rule reviews, implementing security improvements, and managing network patching and vulnerability remediation activities
- Working within an ITIL-aligned change management framework, you'll raise, document and implement network changes, ensuring they are thoroughly tested, validated and fully documented
- You'll also provide 2nd and 3rd line support for network-related incidents, monitor network performance and security alerts, and take ownership of issues through to resolution
- In addition, you'll support physical network installations across our operational locations, including the installation, commissioning and maintenance of network devices
What You’ll Have
- We're looking for a methodical and proactive network professional with experience of enterprise firewall administration, network infrastructure support and vulnerability remediation
- You'll have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP and NAT, alongside experience working within structured change-control environments
