What You Will Do
- Lead in Supply Chain planning and implementation, mainly to support engine build operations.
- Plan, direct and monitor all warehouse and logistics activities to ensure a cost-effective flow of parts to internal/external customers and suppliers.
- Drive operational excellence across the logistics value chain which includes freight, warehousing, materials kitting and transportation.
- Ensure prompt reporting of monthly inventory numbers and forecast.
- Develop strategies to inventory planning for stock control and prevent ‘ageing’ stocks.
- Drive logistics efficient processes & derive innovative storage solutions to maximize space usage.
- Manage key integrators and vendors to meet service levels, operational requirements, and cost savings targets.
- Manage internal processes for efficiency and documents for compliance.
- Lead & oversee supply chain transformation/kaizen projects for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance of standards to drive CORE (Customer Oriented, Results & Excellence), EH&S and Ethics culture.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in any disciplines.
- 8 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse & Logistics or Operations with supervisory management.
- Experienced in Materials Planning to identify key critical parts to work with suppliers effectively to meet 100% on time delivery.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
- Effective communication and organizational skills to work in cross-functional/international business environment to drive supplier performance reviews and improvements.
- Strategic mindset with an outstanding tactical execution skill.
- Team player with high standards of performance and personal integrity.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Relevant experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing.
- Lean manufacturing or repair experience with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experienced in materials forecasting based on engine inductions to develop sourcing and mitigations strategies for parts to meet corporate Engine Turnaround targets.
