At Delta Professional Services (DPS), the Manager, Pipeline & Resource Strategy serves as a strategic workforce planning leader responsible for ensuring a sustainable talent pipeline across DPS client groups. This role partners closely with business leaders, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and operational stakeholders to forecast staffing needs, develop workforce strategies, optimize recruiting pipelines, and implement scalable resource solutions that support business growth and operational excellence.
The successful candidate is a change agent who combines strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and people leadership to drive talent acquisition planning and resource optimization initiatives. This individual will lead a team while developing innovative solutions that strengthen candidate pipelines, improve workforce readiness, and enhance the employee onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Planning & Strategy
- Lead the development and execution of workforce planning strategies to support current and future business needs.
- Partner with GM, Pipeline and Resource Strategy to forecast staffing requirements and identify talent pipeline gaps.
- Utilize workforce data, market trends, and analytics to drive strategic decision-making.
- Develop resource allocation strategies that align talent supply with client demand.
- Provide consultative guidance to business leaders on workforce planning, organizational capabilities, and talent risks.
Talent Pipeline Development
- Design and implement innovative sourcing and pipeline strategies for critical talent segments.
- Build and maintain proactive candidate pools to support forecasted hiring needs.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to ensure recruiting strategies align with workforce plans.
- Identify industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitive intelligence to maintain a recruiting advantage.
- Support employer branding initiatives, hiring events, trade shows, and talent marketing campaigns.
Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, and coach a team of professionals responsible for sourcing strategy, workforce planning, and talent pipeline management.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- Establish performance goals, monitor key metrics, and ensure delivery of service-level commitments.
- Promote employee engagement and professional development opportunities.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Lead initiatives that enhance the new hire experience and accelerate productivity.
- Develop standardized onboarding strategies and workforce integration processes.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure a consistent and high-quality onboarding experience across DPS programs.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and executive-level influence.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and business writing skills.

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and driving business results.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders on workforce planning and talent strategy initiatives.
- Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to influence business decisions.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to effectively lead in a dynamic, fast-paced, and matrixed environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and employee-focused workplace.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
