How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing (Overview & Key Responsibilities)
The Project Manager, TechOps FP&A directs division financial planning, forecasting, analytics, and process-improvement initiatives that strengthen the predictability, transparency, and efficiency of TechOps financial performance. The role connects financial acumen, project execution, and data capability by developing scalable planning tools, querying and integrating large datasets, and translating operational and financial information into decision-ready insights for leaders. The Project Manager also governs recurring FP&A deliverables, timelines, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate and timely outputs.
- Govern capital and investment analysis: Support capital prioritization, business cases, CAR submissions, project cash-flow forecasts, ROI/payback analysis, funding visibility, and post-approval tracking. Ensure financial assumptions, approvals, and supporting documentation are complete and traceable.
- Deliver decision support and executive communication: Perform ad hoc analysis, develop presentations, and communicate complex findings in a concise manner. Frame tradeoffs, implications, and recommended actions for finance and business leaders.
- Financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis: Own and coordinate TechOps outlook, planning, variance analysis, risk and opportunity assessment, scenario modeling, and consolidated submissions. Translate financial and operational drivers into clear recommendations and leadership-ready narratives.
- Own FP&A process governance and calendar: Maintain key calendars, stage gates, submission requirements, templates, controls, and documentation for forecast, plan, close, capital, and leadership deliverables. Proactively identify gaps and drive timely resolution.
- Build data-enabled FP&A solutions: Query, combine, validate, and analyze large financial and operational datasets using SQL and available enterprise data platforms. Develop repeatable models, reporting tools, and automated workflows that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and create an auditable source of truth.
