ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
Translates and aligns technical, business, and operational requirements of systems, applications, services etc into technical and / or functional specifications, ensuring the overall capability / viability of a specific product/s is achievable. Ensures the integration of the requirements matches that of interacting systems, applications and services both inside and outside of SITA in the wider airline community. Participates in sections of single or multiple projects ensuring the solution/s developed meet both the projects' functional and business requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Understand the concept of IT security and its application to computer systems architecture.
- Understanding of SITA methodologies and practices.
- Technical Troubleshooting.
- Managing Risk.
- Install, configure, and maintain SITA Flex Products and related software.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect SITA Airport systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Standardize/Define security architecture regarding patch management, anti-virus, server hardening, Active Directory, containers.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of Sita Infrastructure.
- Engineer Disaster Recovery, Backup/Restore and other fault tolerance related product elements
- Integrate Product with SITA's Cloud Architecture
- Provide 3rd level support
- Evaluate 3rd Party Software and Integrate as needed
- Evaluate and recommend add-on utilities for system administration and troubleshooting.
- Write/Improve documentation for products. (Documentation includes details such as: Installation, customization, backup, and troubleshooting information)
- Ability to travel worldwide
EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years experience in implementation or support of infrastructure platforms application deployments implementing systems and modules with experience in multiple full lifecycle implementations.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bacherlor's degree or equivalent preferably in Computer Science IT Engineering Mathematics or similar.- Where applicable a recognised professional certification is desirable.
