Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Program Manager (Level M) to join our
Global SATCOM Configuration Control Element (GSCCE) program in
Colorado Springs, Colorado.
This position will lead a key development Ground Systems Program.
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinates execution across multiple CLINs and prime program with a common team meeting overall enterprise milestones and program milestones for the US Space Force and the US Army.
- Coordinates deliveries of the GSCCE product across 6 different customer locations around the world.
- Uses working knowledge of cyber implementation and controls for delivered systems with the ability to manage its execution.
- Plans program execution manages an overall baseline program schedule, critical path and key milestones including billing milestones and key customer events.
- Plans and manages overall financial execution.
- Works with functional organization to obtain experienced personnel qualified to execute the program.
- Provides technical oversight of suppliers working with Boeing Supply Chain organization.
- Establishes and manages program Risk, Issues and Opportunities (RIO) process for the program.
- Implements Boeing program management best practices.
- Understands and implements contractual requirements, manages customer expectations, documents and implements required contractual changes.
- Provides technical, cost and schedule performance oversight for the program.
- Establishes and communicates objectives and goals ensuring common direction.
- Implements plans and processes communicating status, performance, issues and actions to management and the customer.
- Develops and publishes a program organization providing clear RAA’s for IPT, leadership and individual contributor contributions.
- Uses experience in open communication with the end customer including senior customer leadership.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
This position requires a Polygraph post-start.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- More than 5 years of experience in a leadership role (i.e., manager, project manager, team lead, etc.)
- More than 5 years of experience managing or leading people or teams.
- More than 5 years of experience demonstrating people management skills to include coaching, teaching, mentoring.
- More than 5 years of experience in Program Management or IPT Leadership including cost, schedule and technical management.
- More than 5 years of experience in project management including interfacing with suppliers, partnerships, and/or customers.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- More than 3 years of experience in Satellite or Space Programs.
- More than 3 years of experience working with Government organizations developing Space Domain Awareness, Space Control and/or Space Resiliency mission capabilities.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+5 years' related work experience, Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $180,200 - $243,800
