Position Summary
The Associate Head of Commericial for JetBlue Travel Products (JTP) is passionate about creating revenue-driving opportunities for a startup-like subsidiary with very high growth aspirations. They develop, maintain and expand the product strategy to disrupt the travel industry and drive revenue growth. They are a hands-on leader who will work cross functionally to identify opportunities to develop and innovate our product portfolio and build deep partnerships with business partners including but not limited to hotels, insurance providers, activity partners and car rental organizations. The ideal candidate will report to the President JTP and provide the leadership to source and develop new business relationships and define and execute a partnership strategy consistent with JTP’s commercial vision.

Essential Responsibilities
- Innovate, develop and grow the JTP product portfolio.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding JetBlue Vacations, Paisly by JetBlue, and travel insurance commissions revenue goals through strategic initiatives, hyper attention to pricing, availability and inventory, and the nimbleness to quickly pivot and capitalize on what will make the largest impact.
- Develop business relationships with other business partners within the travel and hospitality industry, i.e. hotels, car rentals, insurance and activity partners to enhance JTP product offerings.
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex customer and product data sets.
- Negotiate commercial terms and operating procedures of business partners and develop high-level targets for partner performance.
- Continuously evaluate and update partnership agreements to support competitive pricing strategies and achieve revenue goals.
- Manage existing and new partnerships on an ongoing basis, including performing data-driven assessment of partnership value.
- Work closely with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to develop revenue budgets for each product utilizing sizing estimates of upcoming initiatives.
- Build a collaborative partnership with the JTP Tech team to maximize product capabilities.
- Take a significant role in the leadership and development of crewmembers to support engagement, growth and goal achievement.
- Collaborate closely with the JTP Marketing team and provide them strategic business initiatives and goals to be supported with marketing efforts.
- Other complex projects and duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
- Seven (7) years of Commercial and/or Marketing experience with at least two (2) years in a senior management role.
- Highly experienced in building and developing teams.
- Strong conceptual thinking skills with an ability to problem solve, recommend solutions and intuitively prioritize business issues.
- Sharp analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, inform and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication, negotiation and project management skills.
- Ability to build interdepartmental relationships across JTP and JetBlue.
- Experience building and managing a budget.
- Available for overnight travel (10%).
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.
- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
