Howmet Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a
Learning and Development Business Partner to join our Learning and Development Center of Excellence located in Pittsburgh, PA. The Learning and Development Business Partner will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and job satisfaction. This role will be critical in driving employee success by collaborating with various stakeholders to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
This role will report to the Senior Manager, Learning and Development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess training needs by conducting needs assessments through job analysis, career paths, and consultations with managers to identify training requirements
- Manage assigned projects using effective project management techniques, including managing stakeholders, logistics, and administration of learning resources
- Design and implement learning strategies and programs, including e-learning courses, workshops, and other training sessions
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements to ensure they meet organizational goals
- Work with managers, subject matter experts, and external vendors to design, develop, and deliver high-impact learning solutions
- Evaluate and measure the results of completed training programs to ensure continuous improvement

- Strong data analysis capabilities; uses data to develop insights that drive strategic business decisions
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with both the existing Learn programs, and leading development of new programs
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working within a matrixed, global organization
- Willing and able to travel to company locations (domestic and international) 10%-20% of the time
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of design experience using programs such as Adobe, Articulate, Canva, etc.
- Previous experience with a Learn Management System (LMS)
Salary Range:
$70k – $85k/year approximation (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
