The Financial Analyst will play a key role in analyzing and reporting data from various sources across the business, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) to derive actionable insights that contribute to the region's overall success. You will extract, transform, and report data from multiple departments within our Belgian subsidiaries, aligning the information with the business needs of various stakeholders. This data will be communicated to both the cluster and headquarters (HQ) through a range of reporting deliverables.
In this role, you will work with key business indicators, develop, and share tools and reports that connect relevant metrics, and ensure that all reports align with the organization's objectives. Your goal is to provide stakeholders with easily accessible data to support strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include analyzing and summarizing business data from multiple sources, producing recurring business reports, and creating ad hoc reports as needed to support business initiatives, commercial strategies, and stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop global reports and templates for tactical and strategic business insights.
- Prepare and deliver all input required for executive review meetings.
- Support the business by structuring data findings into easy-to-read formats such as listings, tables, charts, or dashboards, tailored to the stakeholders' information needs.
- Produce various reports, including business plans, forecasts, budgets, cash flow analyses, and balance sheet evaluations, as part of reporting deliverables for the Cluster and Group.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Experience with Onestream is a plus.
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French or Dutch is an advantage).
- Strong team player with a commercial mindset and excellent analytical skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
