To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Performance and Compliance Junior Analyst in our Ground Handling Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to be the liaison between stations and company leadership in policies and procedures. The Performance and Compliance Junior Analyst is responsible for reviewing station performance from existing reporting methods, providing guidance and training to station leadership on the monitoring tools available, and tracking performance for individual stations. The successful candidate will have one year of supervisory experience in airport functions and an in-depth knowledge of American Airlines (AA)/American Eagle training requirements and audit processes. This position will report to the Manager, Performance and Compliance.
Essential Duties:
Assist the Performance and Compliance Manager in creating and leading processes to track, trend and report performance against goals at station, division, and department levels to aid decision making and performance improvement
Implement and communicate the department's compliance process by providing guidance, support, and measurement for areas to include Training Compliance, On-the-Job Training (OJT) Compliance, Training Records, IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), AA Audit Compliance, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Environmental Standards
Review station performance numbers to identify trends resulting in poor station performance
Conduct quarterly Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance Audits of all Piedmont Ground Handling (PGH) locations
Provide training and support for new stations, General Managers, and Compliance Coordinators in how to optimize the data available to them to identify compliance failings for correction prior to being audited by the various company and regulatory entities
Complete pre-visit work papers for the other analysts to prepare them for their upcoming in-person visits
Conduct training compliance audits on a random selection of stations each month to ensure continued compliance with station recorded training
Assist the IOSA Lead Auditor with the Ground Handling and Cargo disciplines
Act as the Safety Management System (SMS) Subject Matter Expert and Ground Handling Data Analysis Group (GHDAG) Primary Contact for the PGH Department
Act as representative for PGH in working groups as well as providing SMS status reports to upper management as needed
Conduct the monthly Ground Handling Data Analysis Group meeting
Responsible for the continuous monitoring of open Station Risk Assessments (SRAs) via station observation or data collection to ensure the risk controls and processes put in place are effective
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
One (1) year experience in airport functions (Gate, Ticketing, Ramp, Operations, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word
Proficient in QIK/Sabre Systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledgeable in all facets of American/American Eagle station operations to include Ticket Counter, Gates, Baggage Service, Operations, Cargo, Ramp, and Catering
Experience with/working knowledge of AA’s audit programs for Customer Service, Ramp Safety, Cargo, Environmental Compliance, and Deicing
Experience with/working knowledge of Industry Regulatory Programs, including but not limited to: Safety Management System, IOSA, OSHA, Flight Data Capture (FDC), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
Experience with American Customer Experience Audit (CEA) process and the Customer Cup Program
Proficient in OPA, GET, Air Portal, Mosaic, and Tableau
Work Environment:
Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
All shifts including weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
25-30% travel required

Starting Rate:
$46,000.00/Annual Salary - 58,000.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)
