- Responsible for all sales and operations issues in Incheon.
- To ensure revenue / cost targets and sales objectives are being met.
- To ensure all operations standards are maintained for compliance, safety and security.
- Provide effective management of the Cargo team in Incheon though supports in office and business administration, human resources, finance.
Responsibilities:
Cargo Commercial:
- Establish and execute the Cargo sales & marketing strategy in the assigned territory.
- Negotiate cargo sales contracts and capacity management.
- Monitor sales accounts performance and revenue – Take appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitor pricing and distribution.
- Increase cargo sales and charter business by developing strong commercial relationship with key business partners such as:
- Freight forwarders
- Local and international carriers
- Trucking companies
- Government agencies, chambers of commerce and industry, etc.
- Logistics and sales departments of industrial companies
- Maintain accurate market and customer databases.
- Local market analysis of competitor’s action (pricing, incentives, product, etc.).
- Lead & coach the local Cargo team.
- Cargo sales office administration & budget management (follow up of expenses and revenue, budget monitoring, etc.).
- Communicate with Senior Cargo Management on local cargo sales matters.
- Work in close collaboration with other Air Canada departments.
- Represent Air Canada at sales events, workshops, etc. as appropriate.
Cargo Operations:
- Supervise the cargo operations at Incheon station.
- Plan, organize and monitor the cargo operation (import and export), ensuring most efficient use of all resources.
- Ensure Safety and compliance standards are observed, monitored, and consistently practiced throughout the operation.
- Responsibility for development, implementation, monitoring and coordination of safety, accident and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate and provide corrective action plan for any related safety incidents.
- Ensuring day to day compliance with Customs and Airport Authority regulations.
- Monitor results and take corrective action as required to ensure agreed goals/objectives are met.
- Recommend any changes of processes or procedures to support or enhance Cargo business.
- Establish manpower requirement and supervise manpower deployment in most productive manner.
- Ensure that Company Policy/Procedures are adhered to and communicated to staff effectively.
- Manage creation of monthly duty roster for cargo services team.
- Determine training needs of individuals and overall training requirements for section, plan and execute program of on- and off-the-job training.
- Coordinate and conduct performance evaluations for staff and coach where needed.
- Represent Air Canada at meetings with airport authorities, government agencies and other airline cargo representatives.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree.
- Previous experience in cargo sales and operation (10 years minimum).
- Strong sales and operations skills.
- Leadership & Strong Management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, organized and results oriented personality.
- Strong communication (written & oral) and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Computer literate.
- Good knowledge of cargo IT systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and be able to work autonomously.
- Strong ability to deal efficiently with challenges and to adapt to a permanently changing environment, to make decisions and accept responsibility.
This role will be a Hybrid working model.
