Job Summary

The Senior Lifecycle Marketing Specialist delivers on our Purpose with their work developing and implementing proactive marketing strategies across all Southwest owned media channels focusing on engaging customers at different stages of their journey. This role will analyze customer data to identify trends and contribute to strategies based on these insights. The Senior Lifecycle Marketing Specialist is a self-starter with strong communication skills who is excited to contribute to impactful initiatives that drive the future of Southwest.

This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site.

Responsibilities
- Support senior team members in turning business, customer, and channel insights into actionable plans.
- Assist with data entry for communication planning, including managing evergreen placements, launch entries, and calendar quality control checks.
- Take ownership of the project management tool (Workfront) to support cross-functional teams including maintaining and updating calendar views.
- Maintain documentation for owned channels, including asset names, locations, and notes on functionality.
- Help build and share presentation decks, ensuring clear communication of information to both leadership and working teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, acting as a mediator for lifecycle execution questions and supporting alignment.
- Assist the analytics team with content block requests and ensure accurate delivery of materials.
- Centralize and organize leadership documentation to ensure accessibility.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and understanding of communication channels and their role in generating demand and engagement.
- Ability to learn and support senior team members in communication strategy development.
- Ability to be Customer-first mindset, with a strong interest in understanding customer needs.
- Foundational knowledge of the marketing funnel, channel planning, and the customer journey.
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on listening, questioning, and clear articulation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively with guidance.
- Knowledge and understanding of consumer insights and their role in determining lifecycle owned communication channel mix.
- Ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to learn strategic thinking and develop the ability to see the big picture over time
Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space workstation/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $72,800 - $80,900* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
