As part of the Strategy, Marketing & Business Development Team, you will support for strategy, marketing and business development tasks in the region (Portugal, Spain and Turkey). The type of activity to be carried out will be support for macro and micro market analysis (PESTLE, SWOT, etc.) by country, positioning of Thales products, synergies between countries, business plans, localisation plans, support for business development work with clients such as workshops, analysis of press releases, preparation of marketing material, etc.
As a Strategy, Marketing & Business Development Intern, you will:
- You will be part of the Strategy, Marketing and Business Development area of the Region (Portugal, Spain and Turkey) where Thales covers an extensive portfolio of highly technological products and services in civil and military sectors with the objective of helping the company to grow in the areas where it is present, identifying new opportunities, and helping to design a bright future for the company. Innovation is part of our DNA and is one of our main levers for influencing the market.
- You will collaborate actively with the rest of the company's departments: Engineering to learn about our products, production to learn about the services offered to our customers, project management to gather customer needs, communication to pass on key messages.
- You will also have indirect interaction with the strategy, marketing and development areas in other countries, gathering and exchanging information.
- You will support the definition and execution of the company's strategy, marketing and business development plan in the medium and long term, based on the information obtained from the other areas of the company.
Competences:
Technical/functional skills:
- University degree in Business Administration, or Engineering with business training.
- Advanced knowledge of office tools (Power point, Excel, Office, Outlook, etc.)
- Level of English B2 or higher.
Behavioural skills:
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact on a daily basis with other areas of the company.
- Eager to learn.
- Open to new ideas and concepts.
- Open mind, creativity, lateral thinking
