Org Marketing Statement
Position Summary
Performs record keeping duties for the department, with various systems (UltiPro, Kronos, Profiles and the LMS). Receives inquiries and assists employees, applicants, and visitors. Assists in screening applications, scheduling interviews, and performs other department responsibilities as assigned.
Responsibilities
• Assists in completion of paperwork and processes necessary to on-board new employees.
• Assists employees in completion of various forms, obtains answers in response to tax, benefit, payroll and assists with system access and troubleshooting questions for all systems (Payroll, LMS, Kronos).
• Receives, forwards telephone messages to department personnel.
• Processes employee badges for current and new employees in maintaining security system database.
• Receives outside requests relating to personnel matters and responds appropriately. Maintains confidentiality of Human Resources and other associated matters.
• Assists with recruiting activities for exempt, non-exempt and hourly personnel including the review of employment applications, conducting reference checks, scheduling interviews, assessment requests, preparing job postings or position notices and updating the ATS system.
• Maintains and keeps employee files organized and current. As well as maintaining temporary employees’ records while they are working at our facility prior to becoming a full time employee.
• Stays current on applicable federal and state labor and employment laws relating to Baldwin Filters.
• Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.
• Will have special projects assigned as needed.
Qualifications
•Required: Candidate must be able to work a minimum of 20-30 hours per week during the school year and full time during the summer months (will be flexible around class commitments). Currently in their Sophomore year or greater and pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Must be bilingual in English/Spanish.
•Preferred: Human Resources and / or Administrative Office experience preferred.
