Job Description:
This position will design and development microwave and millimeter wave radar products including design, fabrication and maintenance of RF test equipment, and production support of products. This is a team-oriented position that will involve working with multiple cross-functional integrated product teams on products at all stages of life cycle.
Essential Functions:
- Must be familiar with RF design, analysis, and measurement techniques
- Design proximity sensor products
- Design test equipment
- Production support
- Direct customer interface
- Job is on-site but may involve occasional travel (no more than 10%)
- Secret security clearance required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in RF/Wireless engineering or related field and a minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security clearance from the U.S. Government which requires current U.S. Citizenship.
- Experience with RF signal processing concepts and techniques.
- Experience with RF test and measurement equipment.
- Must have a functional knowledge of VHDL, MATLAB, or vendor-specific modeling, simulation, and FPGA logic tools geared toward RF signal processing design and analysis.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with the LabView programming environment
- Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- Experience designing, programming, deploying and supporting factory test equipment in a high volume manufacturing environment
- Experience in the design, manufacture, and testing of low power radar systems
