About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Java development and expertise in modern software development practices. This role involves working on cutting-edge solutions for the energy management domain, with a focus on robust architectural design, team leadership, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and design of high-performance, scalable applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and GWT.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and developers, to design and implement software solutions.
• Lead and mentor development teams in the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and best practices for code quality, security, and performance.
• Develop and maintain Rest-API services, ensuring adherence to design patterns and Java best practices.
• Manage Oracle DB integration and optimize queries for performance and scalability.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices to ensure the security and compliance of applications.
• Engage in project management duties, including task prioritization, resource allocation and project tracking.
• Participate in Scrum/Agile processes, contributing to sprint planning, review, and retrospectives.
• Conduct unit testing using JUnit and Mocking frameworks (preferably Mockito).
• Work with Atlassian suite tools for issue tracking, project management, and continuous integration.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong proficiency in Java, with a deep understanding of design patterns and best practices.
• Expertise in Spring, Hibernate, Maven, and GWT frameworks.
• Solid experience with Rest-API development and integration.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle DB, including optimization techniques.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools, ensuring automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Proven project management and team leadership experience.
• Experience in architectural design for scalable and secure applications.
• Prior experience working in the energy management domain or a similar industry.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Strong experience working in Scrum/Agile environments.
• Experience with JUnit and Mocking frameworks (preferably Mockito).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of energy management systems or related industry experience.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
