Our Opportunity:
As a Mechanical and Thermal engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the thermomechanical design of electronics and RF units.
You will demonstrate engineering leadership focused on thermomechanical considerations throughout all project phases, ensuring a seamless integration of design and functionality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Thermomechanical design of electronics and RF units and manufacturing/test documentation (in CATIA)
- Project and Subcontractor Technical Management. Attend technical meetings with respect to thermomechanical design
- Co-engineering with RF/Electronic responsible to conclude hardware solution
- Interface with other areas such as Production, Material & Processes, Electrical Engineering, Parts Engineering, Testing, Project Office and Quality Assurance.
- Ensure that services and products delivered to customer meet their requirements.
- To contribute to product quality and customer satisfaction policy and associated objectives.
- Commit to cost, quality and schedule for assigned tasks and projects.
- Follow company policies for processes, tools and methods.
- Engineering leadership for thermomechanical aspects, during all phases of project lifecycle
What are we looking for:
- Aerospace or Mechanical Engineer
- At least 4 years of experience in real Mechanical Design, better in space sector. Knowledge of design tool CATIA V5 (Part, Assembly and Drafting).
- Project and Subcontractor Technical Management
- Fluent English and Spanish.
- Good Communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Proactive and strongly oriented to teamwork.
- Flexible to understand the root causes of problems and rigorous to evaluate the best solution and ability to discuss and maintain decisions.
- Desirable FEM structural analysis knowledge with MSC SW (PATRAN / NASTRAN – APEX).
- Desirable experience at system level (Mechanical and Thermal Architecture)
