Job description:
We are looking for a pro-active and highly driven individual to take on the role of IT System Senior Associate/Assistant Manager in the Changi Airport Group. She/he will identify, evaluate, and recommend industry solutions; and work with both internal and external stakeholders as well as industry partners to implement and manage CAG’s Ops Transformation initiatives, which includes supporting existing as well as developing new capabilities to enhance the overall airport operations and to elevate the passenger experience at Changi.
The candidate should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills; rejoice in enabling others to succeed; have an insatiable passion for new IT technologies; and with strong business acumen to understand and work with business stakeholders within and outside of the organization. He/she should have a strong team spirit and sense of responsibility, equipped with good IT knowledge and passion in discovering and solving complicated problems within a complex environment.
Job Scope & Responsibilities
The candidate will be expected to perform the following:
- Develop a thorough understanding of airport operations and the eco-system at Changi, encompassing its intricacies, the key stakeholders, the systems that support airport operations.
- Work with the appointed vendor, technology partners & other CAG stakeholders to strategize, develop, manage development, deployment, operation support & maintenance of airport IT initiatives; and to ensure delivered solutions meet technical, functional, security, performance, and business requirements.
- Establish the related key performance indicators (KPIs) & Work with the internal technical teams and appointed vendor to track & monitor them accordingly.
- Perform proper project and operation management to ensure delivered solutions meet technical, functional, performance and business requirements.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and industry, be in the know about latest industry developments and be able to articulate potential impact to CAG and what actions we should take.
Qualification & Requirement
- An accredited degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
- Self-starter with an analytical and continually curious mindset to learn more, motivated to “make lives better” for all stakeholders and passengers.
- Good communication, verbal, written and presentation skills to effectively describe and demonstrate proposed solutions/ideas to internal and external parties.
- Preferable with 2-3 year working experience in the IT industry with software development and project management. Candidates who have experience working with an airport operator, airline, ground handling agent, or industry solution provider would be favourably considered.
