Job description:
You will play an important role in supporting the Expenditure Team in various finance processes related to Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“CAG”) and our e-Commerce business, iShopChangi (“iSC”). As the Key Point of Contact for allocated Divisions, your role encompasses supporting business stakeholders to ensure compliance and achieve operational efficiency by reducing queries and errors due to unfamiliarity with Expenditure processes.
A 1-year contract, subject to renewal, will be offered in the first instance.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify employee claims in SAP Concur for validity and compliance to CAG policies before processing reimbursement on a timely basis.
- Establish if anomalies detected in Data Analytics (“DA”) report warrant further investigation.
- Utilise information from the report to fine-tune the parameters and review potential implications for process improvements or automation.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, prepare journal entries and ensure that all expenses incurred are properly accrued and accounted for.
- Ensure transactions are accurately recorded by reconciling it to external reports on a regular basis.
- Provide excellent and responsive customer service to our internal and external business stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent qualification with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Diploma in Accountancy holders with at least 3 years of relevant experience may also be considered.
- Relevant experience or exposure to e-Commerce businesses is preferred.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications, comfortable using Pivot table and Power BI. Experience in using SAP would be an advantage.
- Responsible, with an eye for detail, analytical, self-motivated and highly organized.
