L3Harris Broadband Communications Sector invites applications for the role of Senior Specialist, Software Engineer - Test, based in Salt Lake City, UT. Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute automated test software to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Define and oversee product test requirements, with a focus on outsourcing strategies.
- Create, update, and manage comprehensive test procedures and plans.
- Engage actively in product design reviews, offering insights and recommendations for testability.
- Establish design-for-test guidelines to streamline the testing process.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis to address and resolve failures.
- Validate test systems through beta testing and verification processes.
- Troubleshoot and debug products at an engineering level, enhancing product functionality.
- Lead and coordinate test development projects, including system upgrades and routine maintenance.
- Monitor and communicate progress on testing, debugging, and engineering tasks effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant Engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related Engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance is required.
- Proficiency in Electrical Engineering with expertise in both digital and Radio Frequency (RF) domains.
- Demonstrated experience with LabVIEW and TestStand (CLD and CTD).
- Experience in writing automated test software, developing and maintaining test procedures and plans, performing root cause analysis on failures, beta testing and verification of test systems, engineering-level product debugging.
