Job Summary

The Senior Supply Chain Management (SCM) Risk and Performance Management Consultant delivers on our Purpose by acting as a subject matter expert responsible for managing high visibility aspects of the Risk & Performance Management Program including development, implementation, communication, training, and maintenance of mitigation strategies and plans. This role will lead multiple complex projects and initiatives to enhance resources, processes, and technologies, and recommend solutions to improve supply chain resiliency. The Senior SCM Risk and Performance Management Consultant is a strategic thinker and skilled communicator who is excited to drive multiple projects in a dynamic environment as a part of the Supply Chain Risk and Performance Management Team.

Responsibilities
- Guide on controls within the business and IT processes to mitigate supply chain risk
- Utilize knowledge as subject matter expert to conduct research on new and emerging best practices to determine if changes are required to existing processes and/or if processes need to be designed for new supply chain risks
- Lead development of Risk & Performance Management processes, including impact assessments, risk mitigation plans, and periodic plan maintenance
- Lead risk assessments to identify points of vulnerability and advise Senior Leadership on mitigation strategies and plans
- Create consistent Risk & Performance Management standards and procedures across the department
- Advise Senior Leadership on recommended improvement opportunities to enhance supply chain resiliency
- Manage external relationship with various supply chain tool providers and drive prioritization of tool development to optimize strategic utilization
- Develop and optimize technical tools and applications that support risk assessment, mitigation plan management, automated notification, and reporting
- Administer internal control compliance software and related Risk & Performance Management program by maintaining control of wording and/or control ownership to ensure internal control inventory is current
- Advise project teams on the design of future-state controls, risks and compliance testing procedures to ensure controls and testing procedures are in place prior to project implementation, includes identifying the documentation for auditors to prove controls are effective
- Use industry framework as the benchmark and evaluate Supply Chain Management’s internal control activities to ensure alignment with the framework
- Operate as a trusted adviser and subject matter expert to the business and auditors to design or update controls, as needed, to mitigate risk, includes evaluating and advising on changes made to internal controls when a business process is changed or a new technology is introduced
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- CPA preferred
- Expert knowledge of supply chain risk principles, business impact analysis techniques, and risk mitigation
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
- Skilled in identifying and solving complex problems with strong attention to details, including understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
- Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong, which does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, guiding resources and priorities, and driving successful outcomes with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Ability to respond to crisis situations with a clear sense of urgency while exhibiting calm and confident behaviors
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally, in writing, and in presentation form to an audience of all levels up to Executive Leaders
- Ability to uncover the root cause of problems and evaluates pros and cons, risks and benefits of different solution options
- Ability to building trust with all levels of Employees up to and including functional Leaders, including ability to properly manage highly sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to advise Executive Leaders on continuity strategies/plans and influence decision making
- Ability to provide or assist in project management though understanding and meeting Internal/External Stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs
- Ability to quickly learn new or modified business processes and apply business acumen along with advanced knowledge of supply chain risk principles to recommend mitigation strategies and plans
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Expert-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
- Control design and analysis, large cross-functional projects, system implementation review, and risk assessment
- Multiple financial and/or business processes (Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, Environmental Sustainability, Fuel, Corporate Responsibility, Technology, etc.)
- Analyzing complex business processes
Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information
- Must have the flexibility to work extended hours, including occasional weekends, and Company holidays
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $118,600 per year to $131,800 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
