Primary responsibilities:
- Meals Procurement Process
- Downloads Actual Meals Report from System and provide meal order (POM & crew meals) to accredited suppliers.
- Releases initial monthly forecast of breads, in close coordination to Catering Finance and Admin team.
- Handles receiving of deliveries from contracted suppliers
- Catering Setup Management
- Provide updated checklist/distribution list including the loading guides (BOB, POM), as applicable.
- Oversees daily set up to adhere completeness of required catering items on board.
- Monitors temperature at the cold rooms and reefer vans. This includes the cleanliness are well maintained.
- Returns Management Process
- Ensures control of security seals for BOB, commissary supplies, and other STC's always available.
- Monitors returns management all flights and ensure all discrepancies are reported on time.
- Administrative Tasks and Management Support (as assigned)
- Ensures stablished company policy and procedures are being complied.
- Provides actual number of flights to contracted service provider based on the Operations Plan of standard required galley items
- Ensures SAP inventory items are uploaded/Good Receipt (GR), as applicable.
- Efficiently manage and maintain documents and records all Delivery Receipts/Notes, Sales Invoices, and COMAT documentation.
- Reports all spoilages, bad orders to Catering Finance Team according to agreed timelines to prepare disposal report
- Arranges meals (Pre-Ordered Meals (POM) and Crew Meals for COMAT to Catering hubs.
- Adheres to Quality and Safety protocols in the Catering facility and ensure compliance of ground handling provider as applicable.
- Verifies sanitation checklist and inspection is always followed, reports non-compliance until closure, as applicable
- Assists and handles cash advances, reimbursement, and liquidates for catering operational requirement, as needed.
- Accomplishes electronic forms (Daily Happening Report, Food monitoring checklists) in close coordination with Immediate Superior and properly endorsed to the next shift.
- Monitors the near to expire items in the staging area and coordinates with Catering and Sales Management for proper disposition, as applicable.
- Creates operational monthly schedule and submits Daily Work Schedules for personnel to Department concern, as applicable.
- Ensures actively participation during operational/ SAG meeting and closure are met based on the agreed timeline.
- Recommends operational requirement based on the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as needed.
- Required to perform operationally critical functions shall be physically and mentally fit for duty.
- Should actively participate in the promotion of quality and safety by complying with regulatory requirements, government laws, acceptable industry standards, ISO 9001:2008 Standards as well as company policies and procedures. Also responsible for reporting of
- all hazards identified in the workplace and any incidents, accidents or injuries which may occur.
- Perform other tasks related to the job as Meal Planner as assigned by Supervisor, Catering and Sales.
Qualifications:
- College Graduate in Food Technology
- At least 1year experience in Quality Assurance in food manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of principles and practices in food safety system (HACCP) and Halal
- Proficient in Microsoft office especially Microsoft Excel
- Can maintain an organized and orderly arrangement of stocks
- With Strong leadership skills and Keen to details
