Job Description:
This role will be focusing on aircraft-related and engineering accounts; directly reporting to the Accounting Manager.
- Analyze profit and loss accounts and balance sheet trends and variances
- Perform review and approval activities at month-end, including high-risk journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review general ledger activity, researching and correcting account discrepancies
- Perform balance sheet deep dives and present outcomes to the Accounting Manager and Financial Controller
- Perform 3-way matching (Invoice, GRN and PO) and reconcile the affected account balances.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Background in Accounting (preferably CPA)
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Working knowledge in Oracle (Desired but not essential)
- Familiar with the Accounting Standard "IFRS 16 - Leases" (Desired but not crucial)
