Task Responsibilities:
The position holder is responsible to oversee and direct in close conjunction with the Area VP the full spectrum of Sales and Marketing activities in South East Asia, including the formulation and implementation of business plans and strategy aligned with company objectives, to expand the market share, to achieve the objectives, forge strong relationships with key clients, and identify new business opportunities; collaborating closely with the sales team, developing the support system to improve work efficiencies as well as motivating the sales staff towards achieving the company’s objectives.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- At least 10 years of proven Cargo Sales experience is a must
- Experience in leading a team/station
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Demonstrate strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills (empathize with employees, challenge and motivate the team)
- Presentation, analytical and planning skills are essential
- Above-average people management, customer service and leadership skills are crucial
- Motivated leading by example and hands-on mentality are required
- Should be able to set goals, be flexible, act independently and on own responsibilities
- Economical understanding of the air cargo market
- possess a deep understanding of local politics in the region to enforce laws and regulations
Working Conditions:
