JOB SUMMARY
The Business Systems Analyst addresses moderately complex issues, requiring analysis of various factors. This role involves exercising judgment within established procedures and practices and developing productive internal and external working relationships.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and support existing applications through basic configurations.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on minor issues.
- Manage workflow in ITSM systems
- Lead small client meetings, gather business requirements, and assess needs.
- Train end users on system changes and new features.
- Conduct unit, integration and acceptance testing to ensure systems meet business needs.
- Update and maintain documentation, including requirements and specifications.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, if applicable.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
- Two (2) or more years of experience as a business systems analyst.
Technical Skills:
- Database query and user interface software
- Development environment software
- Object/component-oriented development software
- Program testing software
- Web platform development software
- Basic SQL: (ability to write SQL queries)
- Jira workflow management
- Business analysis
- Microsoft Office suite

EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible.

Base salary range is $66,740 - $100,109 per year. Several job-related and non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience in comparable roles, skill sets, training, education, licensure or certifications, other qualifications, market conditions and business needs influence actual salary offered.
