We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to play a critical role in shaping and delivering HR strategies that drive business success. This is a dynamic and challenging role where you will work closely with senior leaders to provide expert HR advice, implement key initiatives, and ensure that HR practices are aligned with the overall business strategy.
Job Overview:
As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class HR solutions, providing guidance on HR policies, and supporting the full spectrum of HR activities. You will play a key role in managing talent and succession planning, performance management, and overseeing HR due diligence and integration during mergers and acquisitions. You will also act as a strategic advisor to managers, ensuring the implementation of global HR initiatives across various regions and collaborating with local HR teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultancy & Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted HR consultant for managers and senior leaders, advising on HR policies, employee relations, and best practices. Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of HR guidelines both at the Head Office and for country management, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
- Global HR Initiative Implementation: Coordinate the rollout and integration of global HR programs across different countries. Work closely with local HR teams and management to ensure smooth implementation and adaptation of these initiatives at the local level.
- M&A Support & Integration: Lead HR workstreams for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), managing due diligence and overseeing the integration of new employees into the company culture. Provide valuable HR insights and advice to senior leadership during the M&A process.
- Talent & Succession Management: Develop and implement comprehensive talent management and succession planning processes to ensure the organization has the skills and talent to meet its future needs. Identify capability gaps, assess strengths, and work with leadership to create development plans for key talent.
- Performance Management: Drive a performance-oriented culture by supporting managers in setting high performance standards and holding employees accountable. Provide coaching and guidance to ensure performance management processes are effectively executed.
- Leadership Development & Career Growth: Design and implement corporate frameworks for management development initiatives and career growth programs. Foster an environment where employees can advance in their careers and achieve their full potential within the organization.
- Vendor & Consultant Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external consultants, vendors, and service providers to deliver effective HR programs and services that meet business needs.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire employee lifecycle at the Head Office, from onboarding to exit, ensuring a positive employee experience and effective HR processes.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management (HRM) or related discipline
- Professional certification such as Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) or equivalent
- Minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Excellent command of Dutch, French, and English (both written and spoken)
- Deep knowledge of local labor laws and HR regulations
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a proven ability to align HR practices with business objectives
- Excellent decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and the ability to provide sound advice to senior leaders
- Experience working in fast-paced, service-oriented environments, with a focus on employee engagement and retention
- Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Project management expertise, with the ability to manage multiple HR initiatives simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement in HR processes and programs
