Position Summary
The Engineered Materials Group SAP Senior Manager is responsible for directing, developing, and managing group-wide SAP Strategy, Support and implementations. This is a Hands-on role that will be responsible for systems, services, processes, and governance while also contributing to development of group initiatives. Leads the planning and management of resources to deliver the most efficient SAP solutions across all group and divisional locations. Develops and leads the IT team as part of group succession planning. Develops group strategic plans in accordance with divisional and group expectations and needs, incorporates enterprise systems solutions, and supports Corporate IT directions and goals.
- Develop and maintain Current SAP Systems (Ecc6) and Lead S4 Implementations for the Engineered
- Materials Group by working with Divisional, Group, and Corporate resources.
- Develop and Lead Group-Wide SAP support organization that focuses on Business analysis through
- solution development and deployment
- Work with stakeholders to develop roadmap for core group solutions and to optimize and prepare sites
- for S4 conversions.
- Develop, implement, and Maintain strategy for solutions that work with or interact with SAP to fulfill EMG
- supply chain needs
- Execute Group S4 Deployment Roadmap
Responsibilities
- Responsible for working directly with the Parker ERP team, other corporate application teams, division and group leaders running or implementing SAP, to develop IT strategic plan for Deploying, maintaining and supporting SAP ecosystem to aid the business in meeting financial and operational commitments.
- Collaborate with Enterprise IT, Group leadership, HPTs, and users to identify opportunities to improve current ERP implementations and simplify and standardize on processes and solutions to accelerate the move to S4.
- Builds and maintain a development backlog to support the improvement of Data systems and reporting across the group. Work with Engineered Materials Group, Divisional Leadership, and HPTs to prioritize and ensure business value is gained from each change, challenging as appropriate.
- Regularly interacts with the Group Exec, Sites and Divisional leadership teams to communicate, plan and land the business process changes and best practices to improve existing and new implementations.
- Supports data integration for accelerated SAP implementations
- Responsible for recruiting, developing and maintaining a high performing staff.
- Responsible for improving IT operational efficiencies, leading Lean initiatives, driving cost efficiencies, and implementing best practice standards and documentation. 8. Lead or participate on division, group, or corporate High-Performance Teams where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Information or Computer Science, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
- Prior SAP Leadership and Implementation experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through eight or more years of increasingly responsible experience including five years in a leadership role
- Ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated knowledge of supporting or enhancing Business operations including Supply chain, Finance, Customer Service and Manufacturing
- Is able to work on many different workstreams and prioritizing team activities
