To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Quality Assurance Analyst in our Maintenance Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to collect and analyze data from internal and external vendors and providers for the company’s maintenance department. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of aviation terminology and federal regulations regarding maintenance operations. This position will report to the Regulatory Compliance Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Quality Control.
Essential Duties:
Assist in the preservation and retrieval of Quality Assurance records and Information
Collect and analyze various Quality Assurance inputs and inputting data within Quality Assurance department records
Analyze and audit Quality Assurance records and completed Auditor/Vendor packages
Analyze On-Call, Fuel Providers, internal and external facility data, and Essential Maintenance provider's information for accuracy and correcting discrepancies as needed
Update/Schedule/Analyze Quality Assurance audit schedule for accuracy and completion; follow up and plan schedule as needed
Assist with daily operation of Quality Assurance department to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements, Coordinating Agency for Supplier Evaluations (C.A.S.E.) requirements, and company policy
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
Working knowledge of aviation terminology
General knowledge of federal regulations regarding maintenance operations
Attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand and effectively explain documented procedures and processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, other computer-based programs, and computer file management skills
Flexibility to work and organize multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the company’s maintenance policies and procedures
Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, Business, or Mathematics
Work Environment:
Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
Occasional travel may be required
