Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Software Engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and meeting delivery goals
- Collaborate with other department heads to define project priorities and resource allocation
- Provide leadership in adopting and implementing software engineering best practices
- Act as a point of escalation for technical issues and coordinate resolution efforts
- Mentor and develop team members, conducting performance reviews and fostering career growth
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 7+ years of experience in full stack software development
- 3+ years of demonstrated proficiency with front-end technologies including React, Typescript, HTML, CSS
- 3+ years of experience with back-end technologies including Node.js and Mongo DB
- Led software project team for at least 3 significant project releases

- Solid understanding of software development best practices, Agile methodologies, design patterns, and architecture principles
- Experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Knowledge of other database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Expertise in software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
- Experience using GitHub, Jira, and other collaborative tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Passion for innovation and continuous learning
