Job Description
The Senior Manager for Sensors & Global Sustainment (S&GS) Communications oversees all communications for the S&GS line of business, comprised of 6,000 people across three business segments in more than 50 locations. In this role, the communicator will provide direct communications support to the general manager and vice president of S&GS and lead internal and external communications for Mission Systems which includes the world’s leading advanced sensors portfolio.
What You Will Be Doing
- Responsible for the communications associated with program execution and continued business growth for S&GS.
- Lead communications teams supporting the Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services and the Lockheed Martin Ampthill site in the United Kingdom.
- Responsible for delivering strong communications results, and ensuring message consistency in support of executives, key decision makers and global customers.
- Collaborate with Business Development to lead communications associated with S&GS campaigns including capture and keep-sold efforts.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $121,300 - $232,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
